Hand Carved Wooden Bowl

Bring a little nature into your home with this stunning natural edge bowl. This amazing hand carved wooden bowl was made in my garage next to the beaches of Eastern NC, USA by me, Dancing Davis. The wood used for the making of this one-of-a-kind work of art, was recovered from damage left over by hurricanes that so often frequent our area here on the coast of NC. This unique, crafted by my hands item is simply gorgeous and only caused me minor injuries with just two visits to the ER, ... this time. There's a reason why they call them "hand" tools folks! 
 
HOW THE BOWL WAS MADE...
First, the wood is selected for optimum character and quality. After using a myriad of powered hand tools the piece begins to take shape. Then, after many hours of hand sanding, the bowl is covered in several coats of polyurethane with light sandings between each coat. This slow process gives a glass like appearance to the bowl's beautiful finish. 
 
DIMENSIONS...
This handsome wooden piece measures 5 inches in height and its outer rim varies in measurement from 8 inches to 7.5 inches across. The interior rim measurements at the top of the bowl measure from 6 inches to 5.5 inches across. 
 
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BOWL...
Basically, as long as the bowl is kept indoors and dry, out of the weather it should last one for generations to come.
